Activity 3

conscientious or careful planning

creating a budget, investing any surplus into something that produces value such as saving towards big articles

It is very difficult to get by day by day, especially when resources are limited. Resources could be money, food or other things you need to live a good life like housing and support.

Norman Attungalaaq tells us that although Inuit faced these challenges in the past, they carefully planned for the future.

One important way to plan today is to create a monthly budget so that we are continually aware of what we need and where our resources and money are going.

It is also important to take responsibility for making monthly payments for what we owe.

Often people put themselves into risk by trying to ignore a payment they owe.
